You don't choose a c-section...it's usually medically related unless it's your second baby. Pretty sick of this topic to compare. Do what works best for you

It sounds to me like you are wanting confirmation that others have chosen epidurals and their babies have been fine. Generally everything goes just fine. The general differences I notice between deliveries with epidural and without is: While I'm sure there are some that have had delayed cord clamping after an epidural, I have never seen it. Also having baby in your arms for apgars is less likely. I rarely attend a delivery where an epidural is utilized where the baby doesn't go into distress at some point. 
However, generally in the end you have a healthy mama and healthy baby.

I chose all natural. Ended up with an emergency c section. Broke my heart too :(

I tried to go natural, but when I got to 9cm I started closing and had an emergency c-section 😏

*other. I had IV pain meds. Fentanyl with my first (they overdosed me on the oxytocin and contractions were insane and baby was in distress) and nubain with the second. I liked the nubain the best bc it didn't make me foggy or dizzy.

I got an epidural right after my OB broke my water. The anesthesiologist was free. My sister in law had opted for the IV pain meds & by the time she wanted the epidural, the anesthesiologist was in a c-section. So with that in the back of my mind, when my doctor told me he was free I just went for it. I'd do it again exactly the same way.

Epi for my first. They messed it up badly, and needed a blood patch. That was a hellish 4 days with a spinal headache.

With my twins, I didn't want one because of my past experience. Decided to get one because the pain was bad, and they may have had to go up in there and grab baby #2 by the foot if he turned

I ended up hemorrhaging, and they had to pretty much fist me anyways, but eh.
