Are y’all having premarital sex?

My husband and I are not legally married because of legal problems, so we looked up old ceremonies Christians used to do before legal marriage, and we copied what they did. Some will say we are having premarital sex, but I prayed over this months before I married him. When we had the ceremony, I felt like our spirits merged, so I don't think we have premarital sex.

Not anymore because we're married now, but we definitely did before hand and yes I felt guilty about it.  I regret not waiting until our wedding night, we started dating so young though and were together for 7 years before we got married. We were so in love just not ready to be married that young and this made waiting until marriage very hard. Still wrong in Gods eyes 🙁

When I met my now husband, we initially had sex from the beginning of our relationship. However about a year into it, we decided to stop because we felt convicted by God. We grew tremendously in our Christian faith together and decided to stop. It was definitely bitter sweet. Bitter because, well sex is awesome. Lol and hard to stop once you’ve done it. But it was so sweet because I knew his intention was then to marry me in the near future. It set our relationship and future in stone. I knew he cared about us both spiritually. It was quite attractive of him honestly.

My husband and I dated for 8 years before getting married. We waited for six years until deciding to be intimate. So yeah, we didn't wait until we werearried, but we did wait until we were sure about our relationship and we're deeply committed to each other. We were still in college and needed to focus on school, and we weren't about to get married just so we could have sex.

Me and my husband waited 5 long years to have sex and it was beyond worth it. So many people think we’re crazy for waiting but it was just really special for us and honoring what our parents wanted for us meant the world to them and made us realize how meaningful it was to share our bodies with one another.

Had sex, my hubby knew I was more serious about the relationship like he was,  about two weeks later he proposed and about two weeks after that got married. The way we did it is not for everybody....
