Too early for blood pregnancy test?

I recently had my ovulation according to glow (my periods are a little random so it's hard to tell) and had some spotting for about four days during that time. Afterwards for the last five days I've been increasingly nauseous and exhausted. I took a hpt but it was negative. I have an appointment with my regular Dr tomorrow and was thinking about asking to do a blood test but I'm not sure if its too early or if I'm just over thinking. Haha
