Long story short, my marriage hit a dead end lastnight, there's no way I'm taking him back after what he did to me. But anyways, we live together, but he's leaving in a few days to move a few states away now that we're seperated. He was the breadwinner of our home though, and I'm currently a stay at home mom to 2 little girls, I've been out of work for awhile now. I need a few weeks to get back on my feet financially if I'm going to provide for my girls, but I need money until then for diapers, wipes, ect. Back when he filed his taxes he had them direct deposited onto my debit card, it's ONLY in my name, since he screwed me so bad and I'm in desperate need for money, I feel like I'm entitled to use some of this money to put towards our girls. He doesn't want me to touch any of the money though, I guess my question is, even though it was his tax money, since it was deposited into MY ACCOUNT, is it legally my money now? I don't want to screw him out of all of his money, but I just need enough of it to get by on for a few weeks. But can I legally spend it? No rude comments please, I'm not sure I can mentally handle much more stress right now..
