Ovulation dip before OPK+?

So I had the ovulation temp “dip” on CD14 but didn’t get a increasing opk till CD15/16 (testing multiple times today, color increasing). I thought ovulation occurred at the dip time? Has this happened to anyone before? We’ve BD almost everyday in my window but just curious...

I would go off of your opks, as long as your temps increase by .5 after and stay high for three days then you ovulated. You can’t say you ovulated on a dip because you aren’t charting ovulation you are charting the release of progesterone. Once you release an egg your corpus luteum releases the progesterone causing the rise in temperature. I hope this makes sense.
