Confused????

Question

Period cramps but no period I am not supposed to start for another 16 days. What could this mean??

It is probably ovulation! I have pains like that right in the middle- the first month it happened (I was on clomid) and I went to my OB because the pains were so bad I literally thought I might have been dying. They did an ultrasound a few days later and found that I'd ovulated from both ovaries & produced multiple follicles (4+) on each ovary. Every month each ovary develops a few follicles but your brain tells your ovary which is the dominant egg and that's the egg that gets picked for ovulation- usually it's only one egg on one ovary, which is why you generally only get pain on one side. If you make multiple follicles and ovulated more then one from each ovary, it would make sense that the pain would be all over & feel like your about to get your period.
