just started birth control!! what should i expect?

hi all, i’m a teen and i just started birth control. id like to hear from you guys what should i be expecting in terms of changes and side affects, or if there are any. (i’m taking the pill btw) thanks for all the help!! :))

Some women experience increase in appetite, random nausea, headaches, or less of a sex drive. If you experience any of these symptoms, try taking your birth control either every morning or every night. Try to stay close to the same time as this will make the pill most effective.
Your periods may be a little irregular for the first 2-3 months, but let the pill do its thing and you'll be on the right track!
Lastly, the pill should make your periods less heavy and a bit shorter. 
The pill literally saved me from horrible periods and ovarian cysts so I swear by it. Good job on staying protected babes! Xo
