“love you”

so my boyfriend and i have been dating for about 3 months now. about two weeks into dating we started saying “love you” every time we left each other or went to bed. recently he went to florida and was sorta ignoring me which is understandable bc he’s on vacation but i just didn’t like the vibes. a couple days into his vacation he stopped saying love you back. he just got back and today’s my birthday so we just got lunch and he gave me a heart necklace and it was super sweet but as i was leaving i sorta expected him to say “bye love you” but he didn’t?!?!??? am i tripping or is this something i should be worried abt? help me!!
