Do I Have A Right To Ge Mad?

So last night my bf & I made plans to hang later today. He said he was going to the gym w fiends after school & I was perfectly fine with that. He told me we can hang at 6 & I said how about 5. He said “maybe”. Today he went to the gym at 3 & it’s now 6:30. He has not talked to me all day & I just feel angry. Clearly hanging with his friends was way more important than our date & also they go to the gym way more than him and I get to see each other. We talked about getting food but since it’s later now I had to eat dinner w my parents. Don’t u think he could have at least texted me saying he was gonna be late or can’t hang? Second last time we hung out he left hanging w me early to go hang w his friends at the gym. No hesitation he easily left. Now he’s not even responding. I feel butt hurt. What do u guys think?
