Clingy

I know this sounds crazy but someone knows what could it be if my little fur baby becomes too clingy out of the sudden?. He use to wait for me to wake up to come and cuddle with me every morning. Now he wakes me up 2 hours earlier because he comes and sit on me while I’m sleeping and try to force his way under the cover scratching the bed and cuddle and it’s very hyper , when I use the toilet he jumps and sit on my lap and follow me everywhere and sit staring at me all the time. He wasn’t like this. We’ve been together for 7 and it’s worrying me a little bc I love him but he’s driving me crazy, I’m not use to having him stick to me all the time and very hyper, he was always very “independent” and I’m worry if it could be a sign of something else. Wish I could share his picture but the app never let me :(
