Co-ed baby shower?

Anyone have one? I want to have it at a venue with a buffet style (I would do BBQ, but in South Florida it’s brutally hot). Anyone else do this? How did it turn out? Ideas? Thoughts?

Our co-ed shower is this Saturday ! We’re doing a brunch because all I want to eat are “round breakfast carbs” hah 
Also all the showers I’ve been to in the past few years have been co-ed and super fun, mainly it’s just an excuse tog we together so there were less mommy/baby centric games and more couples oriented activities. 
We’re having people draw a page for an alphabet book ( we’re both artists) and also a couples trivia game like “how did the couple meet?” “How did mom tell dad she was pregnant”  etc

I just had mine and it was co ed. It was really fun and we had games just for the guys too so they wouldn’t feel so left out lol. We also had bbq catered

I did it with both my pregnancies! I had my first one at The Salt Lick which is a bbq restaurant and we bought meats by the pound and sides and laid it out for everyone like a buffet.  This place is byob so that’s cool.  And my second was a brunch theme with a mimosa bar and mini brunch finger foods.

Our first baby shower was co-ed. I would much rather it be co-ed than all girls. It got all our friends involved.

I think they are way more fun! I’ve attended two that were coed, the guys love the games and hanging out and stuff! The girls who ran the baby shower made sure to help them feel included by doing games the guys would like as well like bottle beer chugs, and had guy prizes for diaper raffles, etc. It makes for a good turn out and everyone is a lot more comfortable and has fun! I’m planning on doing one as well

That’s what we plan on doing!! We will probably do a gender reveal and baby shower together with all friends and family. Our usual backyard cookout.

Yeah we just had like a regular party lol. Jumper for kids, candy table, decorations. We had pozole for dinner and also tamales. Everyone just hung out after games, I opened the gifts, then cut the cake 😬 I went home at like almost midnight
