12 week scans?

Is this a normal practice? In addition to your 8 week (make sure you have a viable pregnancy) and your 20 week anatomy scan, is this a common thing? Thanks in advance for your answers!

I will not. I got one at 6 weeks 5 days to see how far I was for sure. Then I won't have another until 20 weeks

In the UK you don't get an 8 week scan, it's just at 12 and 20 weeks (unless you're having IVF or have had previous miscarriages I think).

I'm getting the nuchal translucency scan at 12 weeks, not sure if this is the same thing as a 12 week scan. I had viability scans at 6 and 9 weeks.

I'm in the UK and will get a 12 week and 20 week scan only unless there are issues or we pay for others
