Belly Ring?

Hello! I just got my belly ring yesterday, and It doesn’t hurt a little bit of bruising thats not really noticeable but is still a little tender considering i just stabbed a hole through my skin, but I was wondering when can I start changing up jewelry, the healing process and I’m going to a pool party next weekend so what kind of bandage should I get to cover it up before I go into the water?

You should wait until it is fully healed to change the jewelry. So about 2 months. 
You also shouldn’t be swimming at all until it is fully healed.. it increases the risk of infection.

Don't go swimming unless you want issues with it. no bandage will matter because its WATER. Ita gonna take a year to fully heal..but you can change the jewelry in a couple months..dont fuck with it unless your hands are clean.

Usually belly piercings can take 6months up to a year to heal.. I'd say best bet would be to change it around the 6mo mark. Sometimes you're able to change it around 3-4 months though.

I was a competitive swimmer when I got mine done so I was in the pool about 18 hours a week. I put a couple water proof bandaids on it for the first few days but ended up having an allergic reaction to them so I didn’t put anything on and didn’t have a problem with the healing process. Just make sure you soak it with saline or salt water and it should be okay:)
