Sharp pains @ 32 weeks

I am 32 weeks pregnant and for the past couple days I have been experiencing sharp, shooting pains in what feels like my vagina/cervical area? Some are so bad I have to move or adjust. They only last a few seconds. Has anyone else experienced thisand mentioned to your dr? What is it? My next apt isn't until the 23rd
