Getting 3 cavities fixed?

Im 15 weeks 5 days. Tomorrow i have a appointment to get 3 cavities fixed!
Has anyone else gotten or know if it is safe for me to get it done?

I’m a dental hygienist and yes it’s completely safe. The filling materials are safe and not harmful to bub, if local anaesthetic is needed the dentist will know which is the safest to use. Even if you need X-Rays they are safe, these days it’s very minimal radiation about the equivalent to 20 minutes on an airplane so not a lot at all. A lead coat is put over you for extra protection 😌

You need to tell your dentist you’re pregnant. They will most likely still fix them but you might have to get a paper from your doctor.

I had a cavity filled at 20weeks. I chose to forgo the meds. It wasn’t as bad as it sounds.

you can get dental work just opt out of the x-ray

It’s safe. Just tell the dentist so they can use anesthetic without epinephrine in it. I’m a dental assistant
