Guy friend won't hang out with me anymore now that he's in a serious relationship
I've been good friends with this guy for two years now. He's ready to get engaged to this girl who just came back from her LDS mission and told me we can't hang out anymore because he doesn't want to test her trust and make her question his intentions by hanging out with "an attractive girl" as he put it. I've never met his soon-to-be fiancée and I've suggested that we all hang out together with our other friend (who is also a girl and wants to meet her) but I don't think he wants us to meet her because we get kind of loud and crazy when we're together (she's from the east coast and neither of us are Mormon) even though we would be on our best behavior around her. He's getting mad that we keep inviting him to things and it makes me so sad that we can't be friends anymore. I understand where he's coming from and I'm going to respect it, but I have to disagree with how extreme he's taking the "I can't have friends who are girls" approach. Personally, I feel like his girlfriend should want to meet his friends and he should want us to meet her and they should trust each other enough to hang out with old friends who just happen to be of the other sex.
