Can't get over my shyness!

Okay so, me and my boyfriend have been dating for almost 3 years. We live together and it's great! And we have had sex plenty of times, but I can't seem to get over my shyness. He asks me to start everything off by doing whatever I want, and I can't seem to get up the courage to make a move and I hate it! I can't get up the courage to do a strip tease or anything. I guess I'm not super confident in how I look. Anyone else have that problem, or any advice? I don't know what to do! :[
