Please help!!! Am I in labor???!!!

Question

Alright so I went in for my appointment today and they told me I was 1cm dilated and did a membrane sweep. I’ve been feeling weird all day since then but I just woke up from a nap with intense and severe cramping really love along with back pain. I’m 38+5 and I don’t know what to do!!! Am I in labor???

Call labor and delivery .. describe what’s going on.... can you time the pain? they may tell you to come in just to get checked. Always better to be safe than sorry anyway!! So maybe call and go in... you would rather go in and get sent home than not know

How far apart are your contractions?

Answer

If your contractions aren’t consistent and timeable, you’re probably not. 
Once you can time them and they’re 3 minutes apart, and lasts over an hour, you might be. Once you get to that point, call L&D.;
