How many C-sections were you able to have before your doctor said your body can't take another pregnancy?

I was wondering because my first child was placed for adoption. We have our daughter and I am currently pregnant with number two. My husband would like a third eventually. I was reading where another lady had 5 children via C-sections. I was just wonder what others had been told.

I had twins the first time, followed by a singleton (2 c sections). My Dr told me that my uterus still looked great and ready for another (although I'm not sure I am) I've always heard 3 is the magic number

Every body is different, but my mom had 5 without issue. She actually went into labor with the last one and wasn’t overly concerned about it, stayed home and waited for her c-section appointment 5 hours later. Meanwhile if I’d gone into labor after 4 sections I would’ve been scared to death of rupture.

A lady I work with has had seven... she had to go for weekly ultrasounds because you are at greater risk for uterine rupture when you've had a few. So I wouldn't worry. I'm sure if you talked to your doctor and let your body heal between surgeries then there's a good chance you can have another.

My best friend had 3 c-sections and was told she could only carry one more pregnancy safely

I have heard that it’s not recommend to have more then 3 but of course it won’t stop some women right.. 🤷🏻‍♀️😬
I’ve also heard having more then 5 is very risks for infection i think.. Idk actually lol i feel dumb🙄🤦🏻‍♀️
