Fevers & cold symptoms?

I know we are not allowed to take much but is there something acceptable. I can’t function 😭

My doctor said I can take regular cold and flu meds as long as it is AM only. And couch drops. 
I haven’t taken anything because I’m super scared to. Just a lot of fluids and water.

on the list of safe things my Dr gave me Theraflu was the only thing listed, and Tylenol extra strength and regular strength
