Anyone who experienced spotting?

So I thought AF was coming today because I started cramping. I have a 14day lp and I’m on 16dpo today. I had some very light light watery brown spotting early this morning with nothing else all day, not a single other drop, but also a bfn this morning. What gives?

Some ppl do not a bfp until 7 to 10days after af was due. Be patient and dont stress your self out.  It will happen stay positive

Wait a couple more days to test again as brown spotting is a sign of pregnancy

I started spotting Tuesday night and it stopped this morning. Brown and pink blood. Still getting a BFN and I am 6 days af late.
