Rib pain?

I am 17 weeks and 3 days, FTM. Within the last hour I have noticed sharp pains under my ribs on the left side. It feels like a huge air bubble is stuck under my rib cage. It's way worse when I twist my upper body to the side.

What is it from?

Yeah I definitely had tons of rib pain so glad that is over! She's only two weeks and three days old but I remember very clearly how bad that pain was lol. She was head down the whole pregnancy so once she got bigger I started feeling her dang little feet kicking my ribs all the time or she would be on a nerve. 
If it's super uncomfortable I'd talk to your doctor though, better safe than sorry usually it's pretty normal though!

I had this severely at 20 weeks. The on call doc said basically she was sitting on a nerve because she twisted herself horizontal. Booty on the left and head on the right with her feet by her face. Apparently I'm birthing a contortionist lol. If it continues for more than one evening I'd call your ob. Make sure you're paying attention to baby's movements as well.
