My ex has my stuff

My ex boyfriend has my stuff In his storage unit. He has the keys so i don’t have access to it. I have over $1000.00 worth of personal belongings in there. We are not on good terms and there is a domestic violence restraining order against him. My next court date is on march 26 do I say something in court in front of the judge? I just want what’s rightfully mine. Also I’m sure there are other ways to get it maybe his sister could meet me at the storage unit place just until I take what’s mine...but I probably should do it legally?
