Pooping in a water birth?

Having a water birth is something I’m highly considering but I’m wondering about what happens if you poop in the water while pushing?
Do you have to get out of the water? Does anyone say anything? Would they scoop it out with a poo net? 😂 
I know that pooping is often a part of birth so I just wanna know what happens when it happens.

I had a water birth with my first daughter. I didn't poo but when all the mucus plug and stuff was coming away they used a wee net. to be honest I wouldn't have cared if I had poo'd it's the last thing your thinking about. lol!! xx

Your delivery team will handle it (literally 😂), and they will likely not even tell you. That is a normal part of their job so they just get it cleaned up if it happens.

I had a water birth & while pushing a lil nug popped out. They used a little like fish net, my husband was in the water & didn’t even notice. No one batted an eye & if I never say anything no one would ever know 🤷🏽‍♀️ All par for the course

sorry but just a quick question, I'm due in a few weeks time and havnt been spoken to about the possible birthing options, I was just wondering if anyone knew if you could have an epidural but a water birth at the same time?
