Implantation or stomach bug?!

I've had almost 4 days of really light spotting which is not normal for me when it comes to my periods. Usually it comes with a vengeance and is very heavy. I've had off and on twinges of pain on my right side and have woke up super nauseous the last two days, almost threw up this morning when brushing my teeth cause I tasted the tooth paste. Haha. I tested yesterday with a Amazon cheapie test and it was negative. Is it too soon for anything to show.. Just wonder what my odds are of this being pregnancy or just a bug.
