Clomid Round 1

Hi all, I started 50mg clomid this cycle days 2-6. Went for a tracking scan day 10 and the (not very friendly/reassuring/helpful) nurse said she saw no follicle growth in either ovary and that my womb lining was very thing (4.8mm I think). She said there was no need for day 21 progesterone bloods as there was no chance of ovulation this month and no chance of me getting a period. The problem is, my periods have been completely regular since coming off bc 15 months ago! I explained this to her but she refused to schedule blood test. I know from previous tests that I have not been ovulating. However, still did opk and got peak day on cd 17, even though nurse says there was no chance of ovulation. Anyone had similar experiences? Just feel so confused and overwhelmed with it all!
