Does Your Baby Sleep with a Beanie on?

We only have one beanie for baby girl and it’s the one from the hospital lol. My husband makes me put on on her at night because “her brains will get cold” 🤣🤣🤣 
Should I go buy more?!

My pediatrician told us to dress the baby like we would dress ourselves for whatever weather condition we're in. So if you don't need to wear a hat at night in your house, neither does your baby!

I only put on his beanies when we leave the house. You don’t want them overheating at night.

The hospital said they don’t need to wear a hat at home.

I did for the first couple weeks because our house was SO COLD. I also put a Velcro swaddle and a blanket swaddle. But we got new windows and now I don’t feel like he needs the extra warmth.

Overheating is more dangerous than them being a bit chilly. Our midwives said they only need a hat outdoors.
