Progesterone and baby aspirin + earlier than thought?

Just got back from what I thought (based on last date of my period) was an 8 week US. Turns out baby is only 6 weeks 4 days. I am pretty anxious as I miscarried last year. Dr wanted to take a blood draw to see my progesterone level. Turns out I am somewhat low. So now have to take 400mg a day of progesterone and baby aspirin. Not sure if I just ovulated really late or baby not growing? Scared. Any similar experiences?

I'm on progesterone and baby aspirin also. It is very possible to be up to 2 weeks (give or take) behind what you thought. Even after you ovulate, it takes a range of time for egg to be fertilized and then move to your uterus and implant. Sometimes this happens fast and other times it moves slower.

I thought I was 8 weeks along and blood test and ultrasound confirmed was only 6 weeks along. Dr said I just ovulated really late in my cycle. I'm 10weeks 4days and baby is growing exactly on track :) I didn't have a problem with progesterone but he did put me on baby aspirin once a day because I had a miscarriage last year. Said could help if you have antibodies affecting the pregnancy.
