Which type of car seat are you using now?

Hi Mamas! My son will be 8m on the 15th. He’s a bigger guy - 22lb and 29”. We have been using his infant seat, Keyfit 30, and he still meets the criteria for fitting in it but I really feel like we should transition him to a larger convertible seat. His feet hang off the end and he’s cramped so he don’t get too comfortable in there anymore. I just like the convenience of being able to transport him to and fro in the seat, even if it is 30+lb. What type of seat are you using? If you switched from an infant to convertible, when and why? Thanks!
