Date him or stay in the friend zone

Well we met because our children are friends and participate in the same activities. While at different events over the last five years we've had moments when either I catch him looking or he catches me. We've had each other's backs as far as carpooling the kids between events when needed. We have even spent time together outside of kids events. He has been part if my motivation team to workout. We have cuddle and exchanged a hug and kiss but that's as far as it has gone. I stated to him that things would be occurred if we moved forward and he agree considering our kids, but he tells me to sit back an enjoy the ride. I like him for who him, he down to earth, hardworking, helpful, and family oriented just a gentleman all around.
