Fetal movement?

I have felt my boy move quite a bit the last few weeks but today and yesterday I didn’t feel him a lot. I was paranoid and used my doppler and heard his heart beating away still, so that reassured me. I’m going to be 21 weeks. Is it normal for it to come and go?

I’m almost 23 weeks and have been feeling my boy move regularly for 2 weeks now. Yesterday I didn’t feel him move much (if anything) all day. I rang our pregnancy assessment unit and she said not to worry because it’ll still be a while before movements have a pattern but to come in. She used a Doppler and baby’s heartbeat was fine. She said at this stage it’s normal to not feel anything for up to 2 days depending on baby’s position and if you have an anterior placenta (which I do). She said the baby moves all the time and we might only feel 1 in 20 of these movements at this stage. She said I can come in if I get worried again though but she definitely said it’s normal. She suggested trying either a bath or warm/ cold drinks or something sugary or fizzy and to lie on your side with your hand on your stomach and wait for movement. She said to turn onto your side and back for a bit if you haven’t felt anything and to be patient. Sure enough as soon as she used the Doppler I felt him kick and he’s been active all night 😂

Mine has been back and forth. Sometimes when I don’t feel it as much I will lay on my back and stay kind of rubbing my stomach and gently push down in areas. After that I’ll either feel it move or kick.

Yes. At almost 24 weeks I have days where I feel everything, and days I feel almost nothing. I have an anterior placenta, so that is probably a big part of it too.

I think so! I’m noticing a pattern where she’ll be super active for most of the day for 2-3 days and then a day or two where there’s not much movement at all. I think she’s wearing herself out in there lol
