Trying to convince and looking for guidance on a late period...

Posting here because you women already have your positives and would have more likely of a chance of going through this 💜💜

I know no one can tell me if I am or not, I'm just looking for opinions and others experiences like mine.

My last period was January 5th, I supposedly ovulated around the 26th of January. We happened to BD'd around those times.

I thought for sure I had conceived due to all the new symptoms I was having. I tested a day after my period was late and it was negative, heartbroken I accepted my fate. Period still wasn't seen by February 23rd and we were going to a hotel and planned on drink, I tested again just to be safe.. You guessed it.. Negative.

My periods are often late, but I had been having them once a month and really only off by a week.

We have been trying for a little over one and a half years, so I've become accustomed to my regular symptoms.

Here I am, still no period. When it would've been three weeks I had brown spotting on and off for a week, it was very light but still a week. The spotting started off light pink and stayed brown the rest of the time. I though, "strange. Maybe this time we did it."

I check my cervix on occasion, I wasn't any rougher than normal, my nails aren't jagged or different.. but after I checked in the morning when dinner time came around I had light brown spotting (or discharge) on the toilet paper. That's never happened before in all my times of cervix checking.

These past few weeks I have been having weird and very vivid dreams. I usually dream and remember them, but they've never been so vivid before. Though, I've only had one dream about pregnancy. I've heard sometimes the hormones cause woman to dream more vivid.

I have literally been crying at everything and so easily, not normal for me.

I have HS (hidradenitis suppurativa) and my sores have been much more abundant than they've ever been. Other women with this illness have said when they got pregnant it made their sores worse (some lucky women's got better).

I'm sorry this has been so long I'm just trying to give all the info I possibly can. I have other symptoms but I won't list them due to my already long post.

Anyway, I would be around eight weeks if I am pregnant. I know a lot of women say, "by then you should have a positive test" or "if you have symptoms you can get a positive test.".. But I've read and heard a good amount of stories where women either never got a positive or didn't get one until later on. I posted this in hopes I can have peoples opinions and hopefully read others experiences.

Please, please, keep your mean comments to yourselves.. I honestly can't handle them. They crush me.
