Painting while pregnant?

Has anyone painted a room while they were pregnant? I’m curious to know if it’s okay to do or not

Yes well ventilated is fine, indoor paint doesnt have a lot of the fumes that are bad for inhaling.

Yes. I try to use the low VOC paint and I make sure the room is ventilated.

honestly the fumes aren't any good
there is low voc paint that is specifically for nurseries though
talk to your ob

I did a mural in my baby’s nursery. I kept the window cracked (even though it was freezing) and I had a fan on (propped in the window) with the bedroom door open. I also purchased “low fume” paint but it was still pretty strong smelling. I’d check with your OB to be safe and maybe for low/no fume paint recommendations. I probably should’ve checked first, but baby is fine. :)
