Should I try a menstrual cup? I’ve heard it can be painful or messy.

I love mine it wasn’t painful and barely messy your fingers are the only thing that may get messy that’s it. I felt way more comfortable wearing my cup then a tampon or pad.

Look for Put a Cup In It on Facebook. Great resource for any questions you have about cups. I am so glad I made the switch. It can be a bit messy, but once you’re more accustomed to it it’s less of a mess.

I LOVE mine! There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you get it down, it’s the best. Thankfully, my flow isn’t as heavy as I thought it was (using tampons) so my cup doesn’t get full. I love being able to leave it in without any discomfort or worry about TSS. Definitely do some research into which cup will be the best fit for you!

I just bought a diva cup, and tried it on the last 2 days of my period so that it was lighter and I really liked it 🤷 but there is a quiz you can take online to tell you which kind is a good one to try for you!

I recommend trying for a few months before you decide if it is a good choice for you. The first few times may leak a bit or be a bit uncomfortable before you get the hang of it. But once you figure it out, I find they are great!

I've tried diva and blossom cups......I can't use blossom at all, can't locate cervix to get it up there. I can use the diva cup on the first and last 2 days of my periods, but day 2 and 3 (maybe 4) forget it. it's half full in less than half an hr and leaks so bad. it's depressing cause they are so comfortable

Only painful when I put it up on my cervix by accident (suction on the cervix sucks). If you google, there are a lot of sites with good information on what may fit you best.
