I’ve been on my birth control for about a year and stopped taking it in October of 2017 after my fiancé and I started talking about how we want a child now, I thought I would conceive right away no problem, but every month I have been getting my period. We are intimate mostly during my ovulation days and still nothing, I even went to my doctor and mentioned about it he said everything seems normal. I’m at a loss here idk what more to do.

Is the birth control still affecting my system since I been on it for a long time ?

I was even thinking about taking pills for conceiving but I’m not sure what’s the best brand to use or what to even buy.

Any advice ?
