I haven’t lost my plug yet. Does this mean I’m not at all dilated?

Im almost 38 weeks and I don’t think I’ve lost it yet.

I didn't lose my plug until I was in labor with my daughter. I wouldn't worry about it. Dilation or mucus plug loss at this point is an indication of how soon baby is coming. Hang in there!

Some women don’t even loose their plug until they are in labour. I wouldn’t stress. With my first I lost pieces and then had the bloody show. 2 days later I gave birth. With my second I had lost little or what I’m assuming was part of the mucus plug and they weren’t that big of pieces. I’m 1 day away from 35 weeks and just had a big glob

It's possible that you missed it, I know some people have these Grand experiences where they see and can even take a photo of theirs. Mine must have come out in very small pieces and went down the drain of the tub and I didn't even realize until my doc told me it was gone 🤷🤷🙄

I never saw my plug come out with my second baby. Don't worry about it, even if you saw it it can grow back so it isn't a reliable way to tell if you're progressing.
