Prom Dilemma

My prom is coming up in 3 months, loads of girls already have their dresses and make-up, hair, nails booked. I don't want to book them without getting my dress first but if I don't book then I probably won't get an appointment. I've found a few nice dresses in some shops but none that shout out to me. I've also looked online and found a few I really like. I might even consider getting one but that's the problem, I've seen so many online prom dress disasters that I'm very undecided to buy online. I'm a strange body shape too, small waist but curvy. would it be worth buyonf online if that's the dress I want and cam get it made to fit me or should I not risk it. x
