cocnut oil darkening hair?

I have natural dirty blonde hair and I heard that if I put coconut or Aragon oil in my hair it will darken it. I don’t really believe it but I am still a little afraid to put those products in my hair. So if I put coconut oil or Aragon oil in my hair will it darken it?

im a licensed cosmologists and this is a no. it will look a tad bit darker do to the oil if you use it daily and dont wash your hair. with blonde hair especially platinum blonde when oil or even going to a lake and getting it wet it creates a coat tint but once you wash your hair it will go back to normal. of that makes sense.
