MC put a strain on your relationship?" /> After our MC I feel like my husband is a total stranger. Our relationship has never felt so rocky in a time I need him most. Any other women feeling the same way?

I chose other because we did have a small "rocky period" for two weeks after. He's not a very emotional person and I am so I was crying constantly and he just kind of sat there. After the two weeks of feeling like we were strangers living together I kind of forced him to talk to me. Once we talked it out together he cried.... I cried... And he shared what he was feeling. He thought he had to be strong for me and show no emotion. Anyway we are closer than ever now. Maybe having him share his feelings( I know most men hate that!!) will help

My miscarriage brought us closer, but only because my hormones made me hate my husband while I was pregnant. We always have to remember though, that men and women grieve differently and are conditioned to show their emotions differently. I married a sensitive man who cried before I did during the loss-confirmation ultrasound. Others will hold it all in to be strong- or so they think, for you. Communicate communicate communicate.
