Need Good Stories - Bad US

I had my hCG level checked on Friday and it was 31,899 and yesterday, Monday, they were at 51,350. Since they were so high, my doctor moved my ultrasound from 8w3d, to today - 6w3d.

Well, they only saw gestational sac. It was measuring about 7 weeks, where it should be, but nothing else. She said my uterus goes straight back, so it was hard to get her any good image, but my first pregnancy was a missed miscarriage and started out just like this, so I have no hope.

So tell me - has anyone had a high hCG with only a sac, and come back a week later and seen what needed to be there (heartbeat)? Please tell me all the good stories.

P.S. PLEASE do not share your stories that did not end well, I already have that story of my own from my first pregnancy.
