My 15month old won’t eat ?

Okay guys so my little one is about to be 15months on the 17th and I’ve noticed he is eating else and else food. I dont know what it is... and I need help. He has a doctor appointment on the 19th. But I want to know if any of your guys are going through anything like this..... I’m kinda scared because I don’t have the answers...... BUT he will literally sit down and eat all his little baby snacks but won’t eat like meals with us ? And I’ve tried not giving him snacks and he would literally not eat at all....

What are you feeding him? He might just not want what you’re feeding him. My son is very picky - just the other night I had to try FIVE different foods before finding something he wanted to eat. Be patient and try new things if he’s not eating what you give him.

My child had the same issue. It's a phase they go tru. He went almost 3 weeks eating bananas and grill cheese sandwiches and if I gave him anything else he would just bearly try it. 👐 Thankfully he's over it. A family nurse just suggested to try to get him to eat food before offering snacks.

if you cater to him he will become picky. you have to make healthy foods and just offer him that, trust that they will eat when they are hungry. cut down on the snacks and don't pressure him to eat dinner just always offer it.

Mine will be 15 months on the 17th also. I’ve noticed that she’ll eat more if i feed it to her. If i try to put her in her high chair and just let her eat by herself she won’t, she just plays with it and throws it on the floor. Not always, but most of the time! And then a couple days ago i thought to myself “why should we expect a 1 year old to feed themselves anyways?” I know it’s good for them to learn to eat by themselves to, but I just try to balance everything out. I put her in her high chair still for a few meals but if i really want her to eat a good amount I’ll just feed her out of the high chair.

Mine is finally starting to eat again after a long period of not wanting to eat anything. I don't offer snacks or junk food because I don't want him to develop a preference for them. He's still breastfed, so on days that he won't eat jack, he just nurses more. I don't think you should cater to babies most of the time. Every now and then, it's okay but I think it reinforces bad eating habits if it's done every day. If they are hungry and it's not something they just hate, they will eventually eat.
