What to pack for baby and mom

what should I pack for my baby and myself to take to the hospital when I go into labor?

Hand mittens
Two outfits 
Maybe one or two diapers just Incase (hospital will supply while you’re there, but you never know if there will be an emergency or car break down on the way home) 
Socks
Bottles if you’re bottle feeding 
Bib 
Vaseline (if you’re circumcising) 
Rubbing alcohol/cotton balls (umbilical cord) 
Hat
Blanket
Receiving blanket
Mom-
Your own sanitary products (hospital supplies during stay, but it’s nice to have your own too) 
Chapstick (for labor your mouth gets dry with only ice pops/ice chips) 
Shower necessities 
Two outfits 
Nursing bras/comfy bras
Boppy pillow 
Phone 
Phone charger 
I may be missing some things. Pinterest has lists that may be helpful. These were just things I could think of from my first delivery. Hope it helps

Please remember these two things 
Just released from antepartum unit a few days ago. 
Pajamas (open top/ putting down) 
Change for vending machines and Snacks for your SO 
Blanket and pillow case for SO (it’s cold next to the window) 
Loose fitting go home clothes 
They usually have baby stuff
Comfortable bra
Toiletries (wipes for yourself. Not to be gross, but they had me hooked to the monitor for FOUR HOURS. I was unable to move and things get sweaty from the elastic band)

Every hospital supplies dofferent things. My hospital has a packing list on their website for guidance. For me all I packed was toiletries, my own towel and washcloth, a couple sets of pajamas (which I didn’t use with my first I just wore the hospital gown), something to go home in, and lots of socks. My hospital provides pads, underwear, and any other postpartum items. For the baby I packed a going home outfit (2 different sizes), a nice blanket for the ride home, a pacifier (2 kinds), and that’s it. My hospital puts a shirt and hat on baby, provides diapers, wipes, formula, nasal aspirator, swaddle blankets, anything I could possible need really. I also packed a couple outfits for my fiancé because he doesn’t plan on leaving the hospital. My hospital also told me they’ll give me extras of whatever I want to take home.

phone charger, baby clothes to come home in nipple cream, comfortable clothes your own pads unless you really want the diaper kind. I never bled enough to keep using them. Pacifier ? diapers (some hospitals send you home with a pack) but definitely think bout your so change snacks maybe music essential oils for theropy peppermint for relaxing. my kids helped start our bag they ech picked n outfit for brother. take your own toothbrush hairbrush etc. hair clips/ponytail bands... I have been looking on Pinterest for ideas too....
