Tests taken before and after labour?

I was just curious on what tests were taken for mom and baby, during and after labour?? For example, urine tests, blood tests etc? Just want to know what to expect! Thanks!

I don’t remember the specifics, but I had a ton of blood tests because my platelets were low. I think they drew my blood every 4 hours for the first 3 or 4 days and my arm looked like a bruised drug addict😩. You most likely won’t need that many blood tests, though! I remember a hearing test for my son, and they pricked his heel to draw blood.
