Implantation bleeding? Help!

I’m currently 6 days late for AF. Yesterday, I noticed light pink discharge while wiping which made me think AF started. However, nothing showed up on my pad until late last night-small light pink spotting. This made me a little sad since I realized my period had started. However, this morning, I didn’t notice any difference from the spotting. When I wiped, I noticed a little bit of pink discharge. Just went to the bathroom, still small amount of pink while wiping. Nothing in my pad. I haven’t had any weird symptoms that would scream I’m pregnant. Only thing I have right now is my boobs feel heavier and tender. I did get really moody a couple weeks ago but again I thought it was pms. I’m afraid to take a test because I’m so sick of seeing a BFN (we’ve been trying for a year now).

My period is usually regular. Last time it was this late was last October but it was because I didn’t ovulate. I also had no pink discharge that time. The color of the discharge started a light brown early yesterday morning and then turned light pink. Hasn’t turned red.

Anyone else have a similar issue? I may take a test this weekend but I’m just dreading seeing that stupid negative.
