Clomid help

So today I started my first cycle of clomid. I went in yesterday cause I had some weird period sorta and they checked my lining and it was 6mm so they decided to go ahead and start me on clomid. Well they also told me since they are counting today as cd 5 that i should stop the provera. My question is since i stopped the provera arent I going to have a full blown period. I asked them and they said we have to wait and see. If i start bleeding alot to call them. My question is has anyone else had that happen?
