How do you wash fruits and veggies?

My baby loved to eat strawberries, but ever since he had some hes havingn diarrhea. Assuming that it was from the strawberries, i am worried if im not washing them properly or any other fruits/veggies.

I rinse everything off when I first buy it (fruit and veggies) and then clean out my sink and fill it with water and 1/2-1c of vinegar and do a good “wash” in that before putting it in the fridge.

my daughter gets a rash from strawberries, they're quite acidic. But she loves them so much I do still give her some once in a while. I'm old school and I just rinse but I do feel like that's kinda not enough sometimes. maybe I'll try the vinegar rinse someone else suggested.   also, strawberries (and berries in general) are high in pesticides so if you aren't already try to get the organic ones. I didn't notice a difference until I started feeding Olivia. our store was out of organic strawberries once so I went to check out the regular ones. there were like 4 or 5 berries in a package, it was honestly terrifying. kinda sidetracked there sorry 🙄

He may just be sensitive to strawberries. When my son was little he loved fruit and could eat everything except Kiwi. He'd always get bad diarrhea and a rash when he ate it.
