How long does your LO nap for during the day?

I’ve been told that if my son naps more than 1 hour a day it will make him stay up later at night and rn his bedtime isn’t 6pm anymore he doesn’t sleep until 9 which is very late because once I’ve done my house work and that I’m too tired and end up sleeping. He’s 14 months old

My son is 14 months and usually has one nap. It varies from 1-2 hours on average. If your baby sleeps less than an hour during the day then they may be overtired by bed time and that would be the reason they stay up later.

It's an hour or more most days. usually that's 30min morning and afternoon. But like today she didn't end up falling asleep in the morning so she slept almost 2 hours this afternoon (😲)    she still likes to go to bed early, now 6pm instead of 5pm thanks to daylight savings time. the way I see it, they're still babies and with babies sleep begets more sleep. when she doesn't sleep well at all during the day (like 30min total) it's a rough restless night

My daughter takes 1 nap around 11am that lasts from 1.5 to 2 hours. Her bedtime is around 6:30.

It depends. If she’s with my husband she could have 2x40 min naps and go to bed at 7pm and sleep for 12 hours! If she’s with me, she has 2x2hr naps and still goes to bed at 7/7.30 for 12 hours!! Her dad is a soft touch and she plays him!! 😂😂

My son takes one nap now and it’s anywhere from an hour and a half to 3 hours. Then bedtime is 7p. At daycare they do a naptime period of 2 hours

He usually takes two naps still, one is typically longer, 2-3 hours and the other more like 1-1.5. And he sleeps 10-12 hours uninterrupted at night still. If they’re sleepy, let them sleep. Keeping them awake all day when they want a nap can overtire them Whig will make them resist sleep at night.

In day care and Head Start, they have a nap/rest period for 2 hours for kids up to age 5. 
My son naps two times a day and both naps are usually an hour or so.

My daughter still takes 2 naps. The morning one varies between 1 to 1.5 hours. And then her afternoon varies between 45 to 1.5 hours. She goes to bed at 8 and wakes up anytime between 7 and 745.
