What have you chose for baby?

I myself have chose a lot of different things. As in, I want to delay cord clamping, immediate chest to chest with Breast feeding. I will be getting the vit K shot but not the eye ointment or hep shot. My baby will
Not be getting her 1st bath at the hospital. I will be doing an in room nursary. My baby will be with me 24/7 in the hospital. This is if things go smooth like my 1st labor and delivery.

I will do whatever the doctors on staff believe is best for me and my baby. Why make things complicated whenever they are the professionals?  My mom's are nurses and there best friends are doctors so I sympathize. .. I was told to show up at L&d with donuts or something for the people taking care of me and that will go a long long way! Whatever you choose to do for your baby will all work out, I was told the people with the most in depth birth plans are generally the ones put into emergency situations because they may not listen to the caregivers honest opinions.

Wow! That's honestly pretty intense. Why no bath..You do know how a baby looks right after birth right? Make sure you go over everything with your ob so there is full understanding and please don't get upset if things don't go according. To me the best birth plan is no birth plan

I had very similar plans with my first son. But something's are out of your control. Just be open to whatever is best for your baby and you. I wound up having an emergency c section, where is was contracting too hard so they knocked me out, I don't remember him coming out, he swallowed merconium so he needed to be suctioned and then went right to the nicu and couldn't be in my room for a few days. In the end everything turned out fine. I didn't nurse him ( or even hold hi)m for about 6 hrs but I had no problem nursing.

My birth plan is extremely open due to the fact that literally anything can happen so I want to be open to anything and everything. With that being said, I know my labor will not be like most. I will have an OB, my high risk OB, my cardiologist, and my electrophysiologist all there to monitor my heart and how my son is doing the entire time. Right now the plan is to do a vaginal birth, I would like to do delayed cord clamping (if everything runs smoothly), my son will be circumcised in the hospital, he will have the vit k shot and eye ointment because it's what's best for him (in my opinion), skin to skin, and breastfeeding. However, I understand things come up and plans change so I'm open to all possibilities! 
The only thing I'm adamanent about is after labor, my son will not go to the nursery unless someone else goes with him and every other time he will be with me!

I want immediate chest to chest, breastfeeding, delayed cord clamping, circumcision, and am open to an epidural if I need it. These are just "wants" though and if circumstances change during L&D (like needing a c-section) Im open to whatever needs to happen. I'm a first time mom here and just trying to go into this all with an open mind to however the flow of the day goes because I've had too many friends and family members plan out every single detail only to be disappointed when all doesn't go as they hoped. I just want a happy and healthy baby boy out of that day 😊💞👶

I agree with you on chest to chest and breast feeding! I think we'll do but k shot and possibly hep shot but still need to do more research! I can't bank cord blood but I am going to delay cord clamping! I also am not convinced about bath yet as I need/ want to do a little more research! I am thinking no on eye ointment also! I will do 24/7 care in hospital with me and DH!
