1 week after period, light bleeding

So my period was very late, but it came. Started June 1 and ended the 7th. But this morning I went to the bathroom and noticed that I'm having some light bleeding. It was pink at first now is brown. Fiance and I were intimate last week. And Saturday I had lower right abdominal pain, sick feeling with headache. Came home around 4:30 pm and fell asleep, slept till 9 am the next morning. Not sure what's going on.. I emailed my Dr but they can take a long time to respond. I stopped bcp back in April and we aren't preventing pregnancy. A friend of mine says my body could still be adjusting from being off bcp. Any insight?
