When do you start trying to induce labor?

I am curious to when people usually start trying ways to induce labor. I know they don't usually work, but i've heard some things help kickstart contractions. Please no negative comments.

Inducing 37/38 seems so unnecessary. Always wait until your doctors believe it is a good time.

I tried pressure points/ reflexology the day after my due date. I went into labour at 40 +2 so it could have been just ready to go at that point. I wasn't willing to try anything before my actual due date.

I didn't. I certainly wouldn't unless I were overdue & instructed as to what I should do by my Dr.

your body will know when it is time...don't try to get your body there before it is ready..
